Space Bears Beware, Behemoth Announces Game 4!

Space bears, not water bears. Don't worry little tardigrade, you're safe.

The Behemoth has been very careful about releasing any information about their latest project. Currently known only as "Game 4," there is still very little known about what it is or how it's played. As of yesterday we at least have a premise to work with. From what I saw in the trailer, I'm not sure what to expect other than chaos and joy.

Those of you headed to PAX will be given the first opportunity to play Game 4. The Behemoth has said that they want as much community feedback as possible, and PAX offers them a great opportunity to get just that. So far, PR has been tight-lipped about any gameplay detail, but expect a full report from us soon after our play time next weekend at PAX.

Here is what we do know: The game, or at least the trailer, is narrated by Will Stamper. As per the creative laws of the Behemoth, Game 4 is a genre they haven't done yet. The game takes place on a world  that collided with a giant space bear with a head wound. The space bear's blood rains down in violent green storms, bringing monsters and chaos with it.

See that? The little hex-grid lines on the planet. It's not exactly proof, but it's all I've got.
We'll know a lot more next week. For now, all I can do is speculate. I'm hoping for something in the vein of Civilization or X-Com. The grid shapes burned into the planet during the trailer are the closest thing to a hint I've been able to tease out. With a playable demo so close, speculation is more fun than purposeful. Whatever the result, I'm confident that The Behemoth will deliver something enjoyable.
