From time to time, I'll plug the latest Humble Bundle if there are some really interesting games within it or it supports a particularly good cause. Well right now, the Humble Freedom Bundle has both of those things and I highly encourage you to pick it up as some of the games in the bundle have limited quantities available.
The Humble Freedom Bundle launched yesterday. Benefiting the ACLU, the IRC (International Rescue Committee) and Doctors Without Borders, it has already raised over 3.5 million as of this posting. With 5 more days to go, it will be really interesting to see how much the final tally is.
Besides benefitting three very relevant and worthy causes, the Humble Freedom Bundle currently offers almost 40 games and seven books with more titles possibly coming in the next 24 hours. Some of the games on offer include the addictive RPG Stardew Valley, the remastered classic Day of the Tentacle and the sublime and meditative The Witness.
Unlike many Humble Bundles, there is a single price point of $30 for this bundle. At that level or above, you are guaranteed to get everything in the bundle (apart from Subnautica, and Monster Loves You! which are sold out as of this posting). Still, it's one hell of a lot of content for that price and I can't really split hairs about where the money is going on this one. Check it out.
