Rocket League Adding Free Hoops Mode April 26, Championship Happening Now

Rocket League, the incredibly popular motorized arena sportsball game is adding a new basketball themed mode next week. In keeping with their other numerous updates, the new mode will be offered for free on all available platforms. In addition to the free DLC, Psyonix has partnered with the NBA to offer a premium collection of NBA team flags for players to decorate their cars with.

In 2011, one tournament changed the face of esports. At Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Valve hosted The International, a DOTA 2 tournament with a $1.6 million prize pool. Sunday night, we had the pleasure of attending the World of Tanks Championship. Hosted by NVidia at the Showbox SoDo in Seattle, the championship hosted five teams from around the world, competing for a grand prize of $20,000. It was a very memorable night for the teams involved as well as the spectators.
